    Run Like A Mother

    Your favorite way to spend Mother's Day returns to Ridgefield, Connecticut on Sunday, May 12th, 2024 with a 5k Women's Race and Kids 1 Mile. The 5k race starts at The Ridgefield Playhouse and ends at Ballard Park, and is welcoming to both beginner and experienced runners alike. At Ballard Park we'll have a family celebration area with runner refreshments and activities for the kids. There will be plenty of places for your family and friends to spectate, so tell them to get their poster-making skills ready!

    Virtual Run Like A Mother 5k

    A virtual race is a race in which you decide when and where you get to run. People run virtual races for many reasons! Maybe you have a prior commitment at the same time as the in-person race, maybe you want to prove to yourself you can do it (hint: You can!), or maybe you don't like large crowds... whatever the reason, a virtual race is a perfect fit.

    Barbara Nevins and Southwest Cafe present the 18th annual Southwest Cafe Margarita 5k to benefit Ability Beyond. The yummy margarita you know and love will be waiting for you at the post-race fiesta! The Southwest Cafe Margarita 5K continues to support Ability Beyond, an organization dedicated to empowering every person, no matter their ability, to live, work and thrive as members of their community.

    Where the Pavement Ends

    When: Sunday, September 8th, 2024


    Running through Hemlock Hills Ridgefield, the 4.25 mile course (single loop) and 8-miler (approximate double loop) run through beautiful and lush Ridgefield Open Space trails. It's technical, rocky, and sublime, and benefits the Ridgefield Conservation Commission. Enjoy music on the course, food at the finish, and those sweet trail race vibes.

    Ridgefield Half Marathon & 7 miler

    When: Sunday, October 20th, 2024


    Get ready for the 47th Ridgefield Half Marathon & 7-Miler, one of the prettiest courses in New England! The race starts and ends at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, which is also the race's benefactor. Enjoy a beautiful 13.1 or 7 mile run at the peak of fall foliage, then enjoy a post-race party with food and entertainment for everyone.
