2025 Race Schedule
Farm & Forest 5K
When: Sunday, April 6th, 2025
The course starts at the Fedele Family Plaza outside the Knobloch Family Farmhouse at the SM&NC. It winds through Heckscher Farm, passing various animals like cows, horses, llamas, goats, and donkeys. The route loops around Bendel Pond and heads up to Bendel Mansion, showcasing Henri Bendel's original vision, including lion statues and an Italian Renaissance fountain. The course then enters the SM&NC's hiking trails, crosses Otter Bridge, and reenters Heckscher Farm, passing pigs, Guinea Hogs, and a Scottish Highland Cow before returning to the Farmhouse. The course is a two-loop design to ensure participants can enjoy the experience twice.
Your favorite way to spend Mother's Day returns to Ridgefield, Connecticut on Sunday, May 11th, 2025 with a 5k Women's Race and Kids 1 Mile. The 5k race starts at The Ridgefield Playhouse and ends at Ballard Park, and is welcoming to both beginner and experienced runners alike. At Ballard Park we'll have a family celebration area with runner refreshments and activities for the kids. There will be plenty of places for your family and friends to spectate, so tell them to get their poster-making skills ready!
Barbara Nevins and Southwest Cafe present the 19th annual Southwest Cafe Margarita 5k to benefit Ability Beyond. The yummy margarita you know and love will be waiting for you at the post-race fiesta! The Southwest Cafe Margarita 5K continues to support Ability Beyond, an organization dedicated to empowering every person, no matter their ability, to live, work and thrive as members of their community.
Running through Hemlock Hills Ridgefield, the 4.25 mile course (single loop) and 8-miler (approximate double loop) run through beautiful and lush Ridgefield Open Space trails. It's technical, rocky, and sublime, and benefits the Ridgefield Conservation Commission. Enjoy music on the course, food at the finish, and those sweet trail race vibes.
Get ready for the 48th annual Ridgefield Half Marathon, 7 Miler & 5K! These races feature classic fall New England scenery. The races are beginner-friendly, and you will run through some of the prettiest roads in Fairfield County! The race starts on East Ridge Road, just above The Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield, with a few gradual climbs to keep you honest. It then settles into a nice rolling course that winds through southern Ridgefield for two loops that showcase some of the flattest miles in the town. With a fast downhill into downtown Ridgefield and back to the Boys and Girls Club, where you're sure to finish strong and smiling!
