Full Horsepower with Danbury High School

Same workhorse. New wings. We took a trip to Danbury High School to get some thoughts on the new Nike Pegasus 42, and the athletes went full horsepower. From the classroom to the track, their discipline, dedication, and drive show up every day. The Pegasus matches that energy every stride. When you live the work ethic, you need a shoe that can keep up, and the Nike Pegasus 42 delivers.

The athletes loved the shoe and didn’t want to keep it on the track. So we took it off-road to Vail Road, where they pushed the Pegasus 42 even further, doing steeple and hurdles over horse jumps and even running alongside a horse. No matter the terrain, the Pegasus handled everything with ease.

    What's New?

An icon in Nike's road running lineup since 1983, the Pegasus received a full makeover for its 42nd iteration. For the first time in its history, the Peg features a full-length, curved Air Zoom unit underfoot, delivering Nike's highest energy return from heel to toe-off. With a wider toebox and a softer, more breathable upper than earlier versions, it's built for every runner and every effort. Shop the Pegasus 42 Collection now →
